Above the Trees, Beyond Ordinary
Where the forest floor falls away and family life finds its finest form.
Perched high among the pines at one of five stunning UK forest locations, Center Parcs Treehouses offer something genuinely rare in British family travel: a sense of escapism that doesn't ask parents to sacrifice a single comfort. These four-bedroom forest lodges are generously appointed, with private hot tubs steaming beneath the canopy, saunas to retreat to after a day of adventure, and bird-view balconies from which the woodland unfolds in every direction. Games dens keep younger guests thoroughly occupied, while the grown-ups nurse something cold and pretend, convincingly, that they're somewhere far more exotic than Nottinghamshire or Suffolk.

What They Say
“We had a lovely stay at Longleat Forest Center Parcs. The lodge we rented was beautiful, and we absolutely loved that it was surrounded by forest — very peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, although a few small things were missing for us. Next time we’ll know to bring them ourselves. For example, we bought firewood for the fireplace, but there were no matches or firelighters available in the lodge, and it wasn’t mentioned that we should purchase them separately. This is just something first-time visitors might want to be aware of and prepare for 🙂 It’s very convenient that there is a small shop in the center, as you can find almost everything you might need for your stay. The swimming and spa area is fantastic. Families with children will especially enjoy it, as it’s very child-friendly and well designed for kids. The only downside for us was the restaurants. We found them overpriced, the service felt rather careless, and the food itself was not very good. We actually enjoyed cooking in the lodge much more than dining out. That was our personal experience. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would happily return.”
“The cabin was comfortable and the surrounding wildlife was astonishing. We loved the enchanted pottery class it's a must. And we would definitely recommend Iguana's Mexican restaurant and Huck's all American restaurant, both offered great food. So much fun winning the Pool competition, couldn't believe the trophy All in all, well worth a visit.”
“It was my first visit to Longleat Centre Parcs, my children have been numerous times. I joined my family during their weeks stay ( for 3 days), 2 weeks prior to Xmas. It was brilliant...so Christmassy especially the lights in the evenings. My 8yr old Grandaughter visited Santa, who she was so happy to see. We used the the swimming facilities everyday, pottery painting, games of pool, used the restaurants & did plenty of walking. The staff were all very helpful & friendly. Overall it was a wonderful experience! I'd go back again! 😊”
“Check in and departure were good. Villa and rooms were good. Facilities and activities were fun and well organised. Restaurants were good. In room dining was barely ok, wrong order delivered and the hotdogs were not the best. In room pool table cloth was ripped. First aid services were excellent. Security was excellent (especially Gary). Spa was excellent (especially Annette).”
“Have been coming to Longleat for over 30 years from when our children were little to bringing our grandchildren. For the first time I was disappointed. It used to be so luxurious and clean not anymore . Not even hand soap provided . The prices in the restaurants have soared but not to reflect the quality by any means . Surroundings still stunning and staff as friendly as ever and we were so lucky to have a deer visit our patio but your standards have slipped center parcs . It’s gone from a luxury break to a crammed stay at Butlins . Such a shame .”
