Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire
Honey-Stone Heaven in the Cotswolds
Where Cotswold charm meets contemporary indulgence, one soak at a time.
Nestled at the head of Chipping Campden's storied high street, Cotswold House Hotel and Spa is the kind of place that makes you exhale the moment you arrive. The honey-stone façade, the immaculate gardens, the unhurried pace — it all conspires to make the outside world feel very far away indeed. With just 28 individually designed bedrooms, including two indulgent hot tub cottages that practically redefine the meaning of a private retreat, this is boutique hospitality at its most considered and its most personal.

What They Say
“We booked in for an overnight stay and spa package. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate some last minute changes to the booking to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The spa is small but a lovely atmosphere. We upgraded the room and it was well worth it. Food for dinner and breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. The location is perfect and the village is really pretty to explore with some good pub/resturant options and cafes!”
“Once again we enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. Special thanks to Dawn for going that extra mile in finding us a lovely room. Staff are all lovely. Food in restaurant was excellent. Thank you.”
“We booked via a third party for a birthday just before Christmas and was cancelled a few days before as the hotel was double booked! We rescheduled in the week between Christmas and New Year. Because of the previous mess-up we were upgraded to a suite - very nice. We asked about a late check out and was told no as the hotel was fully booked despite previously booking. We over looked this because of the suite upgrade. Staff in general very polite and helpful, but lacked some aspects of customer service, such as bringing toast without butter and tea without milk. Little things, but these matter at this price-point. The Spa is very tired as paint is peeling off in various areas etc. A lovely central hotel, but could do with a few tweaks to customer service and housekeeping.”
“We had an afternoon tea at the Cotswold House Hotel this week and it was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very special by Domenic and his team. We would 100% recommend afternoon tea at the Cotswold House Hotel.”
“Went as a couple for a weekend break after being gifted a voucher and we were not disappointed! The staff were really helpful when booking and throughout our stay, they couldn't do enough for us and always with a smile. Room was perfect, champagne and chocs were waiting for us (part of the gift voucher). The hotels location couldn't be beat, right in the beautiful center. We had a delicious breakfast and evening meal. Parking is available at rear of hotel and also had e-chargers if needed. Super relaxing break, we would love to return and try out the spa treatments!”
