Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire
Where Wales Meets the Sea
Cliff-top luxury, award-winning indulgence, and the wild Pembrokeshire horizon as your constant companion.
Perched dramatically atop the cliffs of Saundersfoot, St Brides Spa Hotel is the kind of place that stops you mid-sentence. The Pembrokeshire coastline unfurls beneath you in every direction — a panorama of blue-flag beaches, harbour light and open Atlantic sky — and somehow, the hotel wears this extraordinary setting with effortless grace. Recognised as AA Hotel of the Year for Wales, this is a property that has earned its accolades honestly, combining a four-star Visit Wales pedigree with the genuine warmth of a destination that truly understands what a seaside escape should feel like.
The award-winning spa is the beating heart of St Brides, a cliffside sanctuary where the sound of the sea accompanies every treatment and the outdoor jacuzzi makes the idea of ever leaving feel frankly unreasonable. Equally compelling is The Cliff Restaurant, where two AA Rosettes and panoramic harbour views conspire to make even a simple lunch feel like a celebration. Bedrooms and self-catering apartments are beautifully appointed throughout, many offering those soul-settling views of the shoreline below, while the village apartments place you mere steps from the beach itself.
Whether you arrive for a restorative spa weekend, a special occasion, or simply to walk the wild Pembrokeshire coast and return to something genuinely luxurious, St Brides delivers with quiet confidence. This is Wales at its most seductive — and one of the finest reasons to stay closer to home.

What They Say
“We attend for spa day and treatment and it was amazing. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and shown around the facilities. The spa it self was spotless. The atmosphere was very peaceful and location you can't beat it. We both had treatment and it was worth the wait. Annalise and Emily were fantastic therapist's and did a fantastic job. All the staff as well on reception were amazing and Jane for giving us information at the end. Looking forward to coming back this year.”
“Very nice hotel. Spa was brilliant, very relaxing and many amenities inside and out. View from hottub was spectacular. Room was a double, enough room for a nights stay, however if I was to stay longer I would opt for a large room. A room with a balcony is a must as the view of the sea really is beautiful, especially during stormy weather. Food in the restraunt is slightly pricey, however, for one night is acceptable and classified as a treat, especially the lobster in cheese sauce which was really lovely. I would definitely return as it was such a nice experience to relax.”
“We stayed here on the 17th of November, just after our wedding, for a little break — and it was beautiful from start to finish. Abi looked after us so well, adding personal touches and genuinely going out of her way to make our stay special. She even upgraded our room and left chocolates and a gorgeous handwritten note. The food was incredible if you enjoy à la carte dining, and there’s also a lovely bar menu if you prefer something more relaxed. Breakfast was great too! We highly recommend staying here — it made our post-wedding getaway.”
“We spent a wonderful few days at the St Brides Hotel to celebrate my birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Abi who checked us in. Neha who served us our delicious breakfast and Daniel who served us at dinner. Room was spotless and had everything we needed and the spa overlooking the beach was so relaxing. Will definitely be returning.”
“Awesome hotel. Amazing spa with beautiful views. Dinner was lovely. The Apple mousse was stunning as were the plant based "scallops". But the stars of the show are the staff. Everyone was lovely, friendly, helpful and warm. The little extra touches like complimentary chocolates and a card for my birthday were really appreciated.”
