Where Georgian Grace Meets the Sea
Llandudno's beloved harbour hotel, refined by time and salt air.
There is something quietly magnificent about a hotel that has been welcoming guests since 1854 and still makes you feel like the sea views were arranged entirely for your benefit. St George's Hotel occupies a prime position on Llandudno's elegant seafront, its Georgian facade gazing out across the harbour with the kind of unhurried confidence that only 170 years of hospitality can bestow. The Victorians, who invented the very idea of the British seaside escape, chose this spot wisely β and today's travellers are the fortunate inheritors of their excellent taste.
Inside, the hotel strikes a pleasing balance between classical elegance and genuine warmth. Sea-view bedrooms frame the Welsh coastline like living paintings, while the Terrace Restaurant offers the rare pleasure of dining with the harbour as your backdrop. Whether you are gathering the family for a coastal adventure, celebrating a milestone, or simply seeking a restorative few days beside the water, St George's has the facilities and the spirit to make it memorable. North Wales itself beckons beyond the windows, with a wealth of attractions ready to reward those who can tear themselves away.
For a mid-range staycation that punches well above its price point in atmosphere and setting, St George's Hotel is simply hard to beat. This is traditional British seaside hospitality at its most charming β unhurried, unpretentious, and utterly seductive. The only difficulty will be persuading yourself to leave.

βWe are currently on a 3 night Xmas break here at hotel. The hotel is amazing the staff are amazing the Xmas break was just perfect. Location is just where you want to be next to beach next to shops and next to promenade. It is our first time in Llandudno and will definitely return. However our 3 night package started with afternoon tea which was very disappointing tea was from a flask as was coffee and there was only cakes no sandwich or savory after a 4 and half hour drive was very disappointed. Also Xmas day the service was very very slow and the lunch was not an exciting Xmas lunch very bland. Also why have crackers on table if they not going to go bang there is no point. Those were the only 2 downfalls of the hotel the whole 3 day stay. Breakfast and other nights dinners service and choice was tremendous. But the main day Xmas lunch was a big let down. Would I come again definitely. I just think there need a few tweaks on Xmas dayβ
βWe had a two night stay at one of the quietest times of the year, but service wasn't great. Long wait for our starters our waitress eventually came to apologise she forgot to put our order for our evening meal throughπ. Second night sat down to order our evening food looking forward to it, long long wait. Finally food arrived stone cold, unbelievable two nights running ridiculous. Won't be staying at this hotel again if service this bad when quiet I dread to think how we would get served when busy. Alison waited our table atbreakfast she was a trooper very attentive. Thanks Alisonβ
βExcellent location with everything you could possibly want within a few minutes walk. We were happy to leave the car and walk around the shops, enjoy the incredible choice of local eateries and explore the Great Orme. Finishing the evening with a walk on the promenade and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the sea and mountain views are stunning. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.β
βBeen back again this week. You feel.home from home as you walk through the door. The staff are amazing and nice to see old faces. The breakfast is a delight, lots of choice in a beautiful dining room. Sitting in the bar watching the world go by is a favourite of mine. We managed to get a parking space, but it's first come basis. Located on the Promenade Central to everything.β
βGreat location, it's on the promenade by the sea. Service was excellent, cleanliness just as good. Breakfast was very good, with vegetarian / vegan options. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely revisit. The only negative was that the TV didn't work, they did send somebody to have a look pretty quick, unfortunately he couldn't get it going. Not the end of the world hey!!β
